SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES

A very important part of scientific work and publicity of its results is taking part in the scientific conferences or their organisation. University of Žilina has had rich experiences and tradition in this area and the events that were held at the university or the university took part in their organisation have been rated among very prestigious and favourite not only on the academic ground but also in practise. Annually many representatives of Civil Aviation and Waterborne Transport of MTCaRD of SR, Transport Authority of SR, Military Aviation Authority of MD of SR, Civil Aviation department of MT of Czech Republic. Civil Aviation Authority of CR, Air Accidents Investigation Institute, Air Navigation Services Provider of SR, Air Navigation Services of the CR as well as representatives of academia from EU member states who are involved in the topic of civil aviation take part in these conferences. An important part of these conferences which were and will be held within the project “Broker Centre of Air Transport for Transfer of Technology and Knowledge into Transport and Transport Infrastructure” ITMS 26220220156 is an active participation of private companies devoted to the research and development in the area of air transport, possibly in the area of the connection of top aviation research into applied research in building and transport engineering which leads to the transfer of knowledge from science and technology into practise and commercial use of research results. These conferences allow us to summarise project results either from the scientific and research point of view or from the point of view of analysis of gained data and interpretation of scientific knowledge in the form of scientific articles.
